Serving the System

Since 1987, 20 individuals, not counting interns and contractors, have served the system dedicated towards portfolio building and product development for insurance retailers in South East Asia.  Culled from various disciplines to fulfill a need for variety; from accountancy to zoo-keeping, the Team continues to bring bright-eyed minds to creating sound reinsurance solutions for new classes of cover and niche products. 

Over three decades, Ikatan contributes to broking industry talent in recruiting and developing entrants to the special world of reinsurance broking.

Team experience relates to all classes, six main geographies and both facultative and treaty reinsurance.  Championing class and markets accompanied by collaboration partners in India and North Asia, the Team works at service infrastructures for the reinsurance portfolios and products.

In a continual bid to obtain new space, Ikatan’s development facility, ‘Alice’, first conceived in 2018, helps fill afresh the Team’s broking day with eye-listening; colour-hearing, heart-seeing approach to broking work.  A revival of our e-note, Surat, is planned in the spring of 2020.

The Team is open to all portfolio-building and product development assignments.
